Self Assessment

We know that dealing with a tax self-assessment can be both daunting and confusing, not to mention the pressure of the HMRC deadlines to complete and submit. We use our experience to ensure that you are claiming the maximum allowances allowed, which minimises your tax liability to HMRC.

If you don’t have an online accounting package, such as Xero, QuickBooks, Free Agent, etc., it’s not a problem. As long as you can provide us with receipts, we can complete your self-assessment for you. Of course, if you DO have an online package and you have a beautifully reconciled year of transactions, you can simply give us adviser access to your records; we log in and take the information we need for the self-assessment – all you have to do is sign it off when it’s complete. We even submit it for you.

We also act as your agent with HMRC, which authorises us to discuss your self-assessment with them if you would prefer not to deal with them yourself.

The new ‘Making Tax Digital’ system is looming in the near future. You can be assured that we will help you and deal with everything for you and if necessary, we can digitalise your bookkeeping for you. You do not need to go out and buy a package if you don’t already have one.
